Rue McClanahan's Quirky Manhattan Co-Op Up for Sale
She was loved for her sass and her spice on screen and in real life. So when we lost Rue McClanahan (known to many for the character Blanche Devereaux she played on The Golden Girls) earlier this month, we lost a tiny piece of Americana.
Now we're getting even more of a glimpse into her life as the home she adored is up for sale. The E. 56th St. Manhattan co-op, listed for $2.25 million with Brown Harris Stevens, not only has a ton of space, but also a couple tricks up its sleeve.
Particularly the door disguised as a spice rack that leads to a bathroom behind the kitchen.
Oh, AND, the door to her office that looks as though a naked woman is walking through it.
