Spaces & Art

Every year come Fall, we use the season as an excuse to push the envelope at New York Spaces. Our October Art issue just hit newsstands this week, and in it, we embrace neutral palettes, high design combined with art, and daring layers of color and pattern that in some cases resemble carnival brights. There is nothing staid about this issue in which we celebrate the artists and designers who explore different modes of spatial creativity in their work. By pure coincidence, McKenzie Fine Art’s current exhibition includes work by three abstract painters, all of whom work in “a geometric abstract vocabulary.” The energy exuded from each of their work is echoed in our October Art issue. It takes New Yorkers to appreciate this kind of intensity. For more information on the artists, please click here.
